Low Carbohydrate Thousand Island Dressing

Most find that this recipe for Thousand Island Dressing tastes as good if not better than any store bought dressing but with a lot less carbs. It is quick and easy to make and absolutely delicious.

Ingredients:
  • 1 Cup of low fat mayonnaise or whipped salad dressing (I prefer the salad dressing)
  • 2 Tbsp of sugar free ketchup (Regular ketchup will work but adds a little extra carbs to the recipe.) (See Condiments for sugar free ketchup recipe)
  • 1 Tbsp dill pickle relish
  • 1 Chopped hard boiled egg
  • 1/4 tsp Worcestershire sauce

  • Mix all ingredients together in a plastic sealable bowl and refrigerate. That's all there is to it. This dressing makes 5 servings with under 2 grams of carbs per serving. If you use store bought ketchup the carbs are still around 2.2 grams per serving.

Note: Add 1 tablespoon of horseradish and this becomes similar to the MacDonald's secret sauce and is great spread over a hamburger.
