There are fans of football then there football fans. This story is
about two friends and a 1978 Denver Broncos preseason game.
I grew up in a small town in eastern Colorado along with my two
best friends, Craig and Don. Don and I were the same age while
Craig was two years older. We all graduated from the same high
school and lived together from 1976 thru 1978.
Now I’ll admit that we were not what you would call model citizens,
we partied hard; we downed substances that destroyed millions
of our brain cells; and we unwillingly convinced the citizens in our
town it would be a bad idea to let us date their daughters….

There recently was a death of a 98 year-old lady named Irena Sendler. During WWII, Irena, got permission to work in the Warsaw Ghetto, as a Plumbing/Sewer specialist. She had an ‘ulterior motive’ … She KNEW what the Nazi’s plans were for the Jews, (being German.) Irena smuggled infants out in the bottom of the tool box…
