Thanks to radio host, Peter Boyles on KHOW radio in Denver Co., there is hope that Robert Wallace an 81 year old retired mechanic living in Wheat Ridge Co., will not spend the rest of his life in prison.

It all started in February when two illegal alien thugs drove onto Mr. Wallace’s property to steal a trailer that Mr. Wallace owned. Robert Wallace heard some noise, grabbed his gun and went to investigate. Mr. Wallace saw these two bad guys hooking up to his trailer and yelled for them to stop. The two ignored his threats, finished hooking up the trailer and tried to drive away. Mr. Wallace defended his property by firing two shots at the pickup truck these illegal Mexicans were driving, hitting one of them. Mr. Wallace called the Wheat Ridge police and reported the theft.

Later the next day this thug was taken to a Denver hospital with the gunshot wound to the head and the police were called. At that time, the Wheat Ridge and Jefferson County law enforcement agencies were contacted. The D.A. was notified and to everyone’s surprise, Mr. Wallace was arrested and charges with attempted murder.

To add insult to injury, neither of the two career criminals where charged with a crime nor was ICE notified. Even worse, one of these hoodlums had a long criminal history with previous arrests for car theft. On one such arrest he pleaded guilty to agricultural trespass which was a common plea bargain given to illegal aliens during the time Governor Ritter was heading up the District attorney’s office. This is exactly what you expect from a state like Colorado who provides sanctuary to these illegal aliens.

Up until the first of July, the DA’s office was proceeding with the charges against Mr. Wallace and giving these thugs a free pass. This all changed once Peter Boyles got wind of it. Peter was outraged by this injustice. Every day for the last two weeks Peter has informed his listeners about this unfair prosecution of an old man who was trying to protect what little property he had. Finally it got attention by the local news outlets and paper.

People were outraged and starting calling the DA’s office. Because of this grass roots effort by people appalled by this injustice, charges were filed on July 8th against these two career criminals. ICE has been notified as well.

However, the DA’s office is standing firm on the murder charges filed on Mr. Wallace and intend to proceed in court.
If you walk into a large bank you will most likely see a bank guard carrying a weapon. Why, because he is there to protect the banks property, and will use deadly force if necessary to do so. Unfortunately, a law abiding senior citizen in the State of Colorado isn’t allowed to protect his hard earned property and could possibly spend the rest of his life in prison as well as losing everything he worked for to defend himself.

If you are as outraged as we are, then help us right this wrong. Call Scott Story, District Attorney at 303-271-6984 and let him know that we will not tolerate any longer this leniency given to illegal aliens or criminals in general and find it a miscarriage of justice to charge Mr. Wallace with attempted murder for doing what needs to be done to assure his property and livelihood is safe and secure.
