This recipe is easy to prepare and has only 1.8 grams of carbohydrates per serving. The fat content may be a little high at 37 grams but you can reduce that by using lean meats or ground turkey. Makes 6 servings.
Ingredients:
1.5 Lbs gound beef (or ground turkey)
1.5 Lbs of ground pork
3 Eggs
1/2 tsp of garlic powder
1/4 tsp of black pepper
1/4 tsp of thyme
1/4 tsp of ground sage
1/4 Tbsp of Worcestershire sauce
1/4 Tbsp of sherry
1/2 Cup of onions (minced)
5 Oz fat free or reduced fat chedder cheese (Grated)
Combine seasonings,Worcestershire sauce, eggs and sherry and beat well.
Add meats, onions and cheese and blend well with hands.
Place in oiled meat loaf pan and bake at 375 degrees for 45 minutes. Let cool 5 minutes before slicing and serving
