Last week the US House of Representatives voted to ban funding for Acorn after several undercover video tapes were released in which ACORN workers are seen urging illegal activities. The vote was a whopping 345 for and 75 against. The Senate voted to bar funding to ACORN by a vote of 83 for and 7 against. You would have thought that any congressman or congresswoman would protect their tax paying constitutes hard earned tax dollars by refusing to provide any further funding to an organization that promotes illegal activities. Evidently this isn’t the case with Diana DeGette and Jared Polis, two house representatives from Colorado.

There are fans of football then there football fans. This story is
about two friends and a 1978 Denver Broncos preseason game.

I grew up in a small town in eastern Colorado along with my two
best friends, Craig and Don. Don and I were the same age while
Craig was two years older. We all graduated from the same high
